Terms of trade.
These terms apply to every quote and every order. We sell to businesses only. Last updated September 2026.
1. Who you are dealing with
Sparesdock is a trading name of Sculf B.V., KvK number 94352828, registered office Zaagmolenpad 101, Doetinchem, 7008 AH. "We" and "us" mean that company. "You" means the business placing the order.
The company named on your quote and invoice is the one you contract with.
2. Quotes
Quotes are in the currency stated on them, exclude VAT and delivery unless stated, and hold for seven days. Availability shown on a quote is as confirmed by our suppliers at the time and is checked again at order. A quote is an invitation to order, not an offer; a contract forms when we confirm your order in writing.
3. Grades and descriptions
Each line is described by brand and grade: genuine, OEM or aftermarket. We supply the brand stated. Where we cannot, we tell you before dispatch and you may cancel that line. Part numbers you give us are matched in good faith; fitment to a specific vehicle is your responsibility unless you have given us the chassis number and asked us to check.
4. Payment
Proforma invoice, payment by bank transfer before dispatch, unless we have agreed credit terms in writing. Goods remain our property until paid in full. Late payment on credit accounts carries statutory commercial interest under article 6:119a of the Dutch Civil Code.
5. Delivery
Delivery terms are as stated on the quote (for example EXW our premises, or delivered to your named forwarder). Risk passes to you on handover to you or your carrier. Lead times are estimates. Export customs, duties and taxes in the destination country are your responsibility unless the quote says otherwise.
6. Wrong or damaged goods
Check goods on receipt. Report shortages, damage or wrong parts within seven days of delivery with photographs. We replace or credit lines that are wrong or damaged on our side. Returns need our written approval first and must be unused, in original packaging. Parts ordered correctly and no longer wanted may be accepted at our discretion, less a handling charge and return carriage.
7. Warranty
Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty. Claims are handled with the manufacturer or distributor on your behalf. We do not cover labour, consequential loss or fitting costs.
8. Liability
Our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order. We are not liable for loss of profit, business or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
9. Trade marks
Brand names are used to identify parts and their applications. We are an independent supplier and are not an authorised distributor of, or affiliated with, the vehicle or parts manufacturers named unless stated in writing.
10. Law
These terms are governed by Dutch law and the competent court in the Netherlands has exclusive jurisdiction. The Vienna Sales Convention (CISG) does not apply.
